Known as “The Ambassadors’ Palace” (Palazzo degli Ambasciatori) at the beginning of the XXth century because it was built to host diplomats of the nearby Embassies, the Ambasciatori Palace Hotel in Rome is a historical building overlooking Via Veneto, one of the most renowned avenues in the world. Via Veneto crosses an ancient estate, transformed after it was bought and remodeled by cardinal Prince Ludovico Ludovisi in the early XVIIth century into one of Rome’s most splendid and luxurious areas. Now one hundred years old ( more precisely, since 2005), the hotel was built between 1900 and 1905 on plans drawn by the wellknown architect Carlo Busiri Vici.
